Versatility Is The Key

MRS Adventure X2 is a two-person packraft equipped with two removable seats. In order to save grams, it has a compact design without much extra space. This two-person packraft can also be easily used as a single-paddler packraft by removing one seat. This year we have added a comfortable backrest for the front paddling position as standard equipment for the Adventure X2. The inflatable backrest is supported by a 6-point securing system which feels like being comfortably wrapped in a chair. The backrest is also equipped with quick release buttons so that you can easily remove it from the hull when necessary, giving you more space for your family or dogs.

You can choose to add an airtight zipper internal storage system (ISS) and a SprayDeck, a removable, C-type spray skirt. The SprayDeck allows you to jump in and out of the raft easily. Only one paddler can be accomodated when the SprayDeck is installed, but it can be easily folded or removed to seat a second paddler.

Water may get in around the edges under extreme white water conditions.

Best Choice For Family Paddling

The Barracuda R2 looks like a canoe, but has the mobility and portability of a packraft. Compared to the MRS Adventure X2, Barracuda R2 is longer and narrower. The longer length of the bow and the stern makes it streamlined for better tracking. At the same time, the Barracuda R2 also provides great inner storage space and high buoyancy (while being only 20% heavier than the Adventure X2). The stern is equipped with a detachable fin to improve its stability, which dramatically improves tracking.

This fast and efficient packraft was used by the Swedish Hamilton Adventure team to win Nordic Islands Adventure Race (NIAR).

The Ultimate Adventure Race Packraft

The Barracuda R2 Pro is the ultimate packraft upgraded from the MRS Barracuda R2. Reinforced fabric improves durability, while added spray deck or self bailing floor gives it white water potential.

The Barracuda R2 Pro comes with an Internal Storage System (ISS, including 2 dry bags).

Choose between a removable deck or self bailing floor. The removable spray deck could be easily closed or opened with two waterproof zippers. The self bailing floor lets water out in prolonged whitewater sections.

Longer Than Barracuda R2

The Fin Whale is a newly designed high-capacity packraft. The hull is constructed from 420D reinforced nylon TPU material for optimal rigidity.

The 210D version is NOT available, and NO multicolor options.

The raft’s length has been increased, while a fully streamlined shape has been adopted for improved performance. Compared to the Barracuda R2, the interior space has increased by 30%, and the distance between the front and rear seats offers more space for paddling.

The middle seat of the packraft features a front-to-back adjustment, providing flexible space for carrying cargo or accommodating kids/pets.

The rear seat has been moved slightly forward compared to the Barracuda R2, balancing the weight distribution with the extended packraft length. There’s also additional usable space behind the rear seat.

*Advised Paddler's Weight:

This refers to the maximum recommended weight for a single paddler. Since the paddler’s weight is more concentrated, it could cause the packraft’s hull to deform under stress. When approaching this weight limit, increasing air pressure can help alleviate the strain, but the material’s load will also increase. The suggested weight is generally lower than the packraft’s total recommended capacity.

**Advised Capacity:

This value represents the recommended total load the packraft can carry, including the paddler and gear. However, this doesn’t mean the packraft will sink once this limit is exceeded. In fact, it still has significant buoyancy. That said, exceeding this limit may affect the packraft’s maneuverability, stability, material load, and water resistance.

Tips for Comfort

• To enhance comfort, the seat cushion’s air pressure can be adjusted to reduce inflation, which will allow it to better fit the body and also lower the seat’s height, providing better support for the backrest.
• Inflation Recommendations: It’s recommended to inflate the packraft to a pressure of 2.5-3 psi (adjusting based on weather conditions and water temperature changes).

Lightest Ever Tandem Packraft

The white Surveyor packraft is made from a special ultralight material that reflects sunlight, which helps to keep the packraft cool in hot weather. As a result, there is less air pressure fluctuations when get in and out of water.

The olive Surveyor packraft has a slightly thicker coating than the white one, which makes it more scratch-resistant. Olive is also a good hiding color, which can be an advantage if you are paddling in areas where you want to be more discreet.

• White fabric is more susceptible to yellowing than other colors when exposed to ultraviolet rays. It is normal that the sunlight breaks down the molecules in the fabric, causing it to yellow over time. Store it in a shade location after use.
• The coating on the fabric is extremely thin. If you plan to use the packraft for activities that involve a lot of contact with rough surfaces, you should be aware that the fabric may be more likely to tear or become damaged.

Patented Floor Design

Drainage holes are concentrated under the paddler’s foot. The drainage hole at the bottom of the packraft is equipped with a shielding plate to reduce the holes resistance.
